About
For people who own the books.
Every manga collection runs into the same problem sooner or later: the shelf keeps growing, and memory can’t keep up with it. Which volumes of a forty-volume series are actually here? Was volume 12 the one you meant to buy, or the one you already own twice?
So Lorebound is a catalogue. Scan a book’s barcode and it’s in your library. Open a series and every volume is laid out, with the gaps easy to spot. That’s the job, and the app is built to do it well rather than to do everything.
It deliberately doesn’t track reading or chapters, stream manga or sell your data. It tracks what’s on your shelf. The core of it is free; the extras are a single one-time purchase, because a collection app shouldn’t need a subscription.
From gap to shelf
Knowing what’s missing is half of it; the other half is getting it. So when a series has gaps, Lorebound links each missing volume straight to where you can buy it — Bookshop.org today, with other retailers to come. Those are affiliate links: if you buy through them, Lorebound may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you, which helps keep the app’s core free. The affiliate disclosure explains how it works.
The website
This site is the other half: a place for guides about collecting manga — how to catalogue what you have, how editions differ, and how to complete a run. Guides that link to retailers say so next to the link.
